Learn how to make these beautiful decorated cookies for Valentine’s Day with royal icing and edible glass in the latest tutorial in my Cookie Art Club!

I used my gingerbread cut-out cookie recipe for this edible display (I still had some left over from the holidays!), but any of my cut-out cookie recipes are perfect for this project! You’ll find them all in the Cookie Art Club.

The Isomalt and sparkling sugar create a beautiful frosted glass look on these cookies. You can place fairy lights or flameless candles behind the cookies to make them glow!

Leaving the melted Isomalt in the oven at 350˚F for 15-20 minutes makes a huge difference in the clarity of the finished product.

I used pre-cooked Isomalt from Simi Cakes for this project. It’s very easy to melt and use!
