A friend of mine requested this design shortly after I made these vintage Pyrex inspired cookies. I actually wasn’t familiar with the famous Merry Mushroom design before that!



Here’s what you’ll need to make these adorable Merry Mushroom inspired cookies
These supplies are available in my Amazon store unless otherwise noted
- Chilled sheet of cookie dough (I used my vanilla cut-out cookie recipe)
- Canister templates (available in the Cookie Art Club)
- Mushroom cutters
- Knife to cut cookie dough
- About 1 oz of white modeling chocolate or fondant
- Cornstarch
- Fondant rolling pin
- Small piece of plastic wrap
- Royal icing
- Brown, Lemon Yellow, and Green food coloring (Ann Clark or Chefmaster brand)
- 4 12” decorating bags
- Scribe tool
- Wilton decorating tips 3 and 2
- Couplers & Bag ties (I used Wilton brand)
- Decorator brushes (I used Sweet Sticks and Chua Cookie brand)
- Edible paint in Brown, Yellow, White, and Orange (I used Sweet Sticks brand – use my code SWEETAMBS15 for 15% off your order)
- Vodka, grain alcohol, flavored extract, or paint powder activator
- Paint palette or small dishes
