These leopard print swimsuit cookies are based on one that I own, although mine is not quite as cute! And of course I had to add some wet on wet royal icing flowers in there, too. Sometimes I wish I could wave a magic wand and turn my decorated cookies into the real thing!

I used the wet on wet royal icing technique to decorate these cookies. This technique allows you to create a design with multiple colors that dries completely flat, as you can see in the picture of the wet on wet royal icing flowers design below.

The swimsuit cookie cutter that I used for this project is a little bit long and narrow for me, so I squished it to make it wider before cutting the cookies.
Here’s what you’ll need to make these swimsuit cookies with wet on wet royal icing flowers
These supplies are available in my Amazon store unless otherwise noted
- Chilled sheet of cookie dough (I used my chocolate cut-out cookie recipe)
- Swimsuit cookie cutter
- Royal icing
- Black, Brown, Green, and Red food coloring (I used Chefmaster brand)
- 4 12” decorating bags
- 3 tipless decorating bags
- Scribe tool
- Wilton decorating tips 1 and 2
- Couplers & Bag ties (I used Wilton brand)
- Decorator brush (I used Sweet Sticks brand)
- Gold luster dust (I used Sweet Sticks)
- Vodka, grain alcohol, extract, or paint powder activator
- Paint palette or small dishes
